BRASS JIS 37 DEGREE FLARE FITTINGS

Brass JIC 37° flare fittings are designed for use on specialty, low pressure fluid lines where a plated steel or stainless steel adapter is not preferred. They are NOT designed for high pressure hydraulic service. Flare fittings are easy to disassemble and can be reassembled many times with no effect on the seal, however brass is a soft material and susceptible to distortion, cracking, cross threading, etc. when over tightened. As a general guide only, they may have an intermittent temperature range of -54°C (-65°F) to +121°C (+250°F), however at wide temperature ranges the maximum pressure rating drops significantly.

Types of Brass JIS 37 degree Flare Fittings: Male Straight Adapter, Female Straight Adapter, Straight Tube Union, 90 Degree Forged Flare Elbow and 45 Degree Forged Flare Elbow.
